Online and In Person: Retreats

Aug 29: Saturday 3 Hour Retreat

“As their thoughts inside retreat, their affairs outside also disappear. It is said in a verse:

Sitting leisurely among trees,
quietly letting go of all unwholesome actions,
and attaining a single mind free from desire —
this is pleasure beyond a [heavenly one’s] bliss.”

Zen Master Dōgen (Shobogenzo, “Virtue of Home Leaving,” tr. Tanahashi)

Half day retreats are a wonderful way to deepen your practice across multiple sitting periods. Retreats also offer time for discussions with the leader and experiential Zen koan practice.

Retreats occur online — or optionally live in Seattle — so you may join from anywhere.

Can’t make all of it? Join for any portion of the time at the regular online practice link.

Our next retreats are:

  • Saturday August 29, 9a-12p Pacific Time

  • Saturday October 10, 9am-12p Pacific Time

We hope to see you!
Please register here for either or both retreats
